Prepared Message
Use the Workbench fields to prepare your message. When you enter Preacher Mode, the current preparation is shown here as a clean reading outline.
A guided workspace for disciplined biblical and sermon preparation. Use a template, work through the text carefully, compare Bible versions, examine language where needed, then shape the message for people.
You can prepare from scratch, paste a sermon you already have, or continue a previous REAP LIFE message. Nothing is discarded; imported material becomes editable preparation.
Choose the closest starting point. The same content can later flow to Preacher Mode, Presentation, Media, Prayer or Share Center.
Start with the spiritual and pastoral purpose before building the sermon.
Identify the passage before deciding what you want it to say.
What does the Bible actually say? Record what you can see before explaining what it means.
What is happening around this passage? Consider what comes before and after it, the book, audience, author, setting and purpose.
Use language and grammar tools when they help clarify the text. A word's dictionary range is not automatically its meaning in every verse.
What did the passage mean in context, and what faithful biblical truth should the congregation understand?
What is the central truth of this passage that people should remember after the sermon?
Explain the truth, illustrate it so people can see it, and apply it so they know what to do.
Let the truth of the message become thanksgiving, repentance, faith, intercession, commitment or another appropriate response.
Before publishing or preaching, check that the message is faithful to Scripture, clear to people and ready for delivery.
